What’s not to love about sack cloth tea towels? New in the shop are 8 different designs of these useful and decorative gifts from 2 different companies. And, as a bonus – they are not only soft and pretty, but also educational! From map motifs to helpful drawings of edible plants, these make great gifts for any occasion. Also, Janet points out they can be used to wrap up a bundle of garden produce (or a favorite tin of tea) with a ribbon and voila! Pinterest worthy presentation! ~Andrea
A fairy garden can be created in almost any kind of container from a tiny little garden in a teacup to a woodland scene in a wheelbarrow. And what most fairy gardens have in common is a variety of plants potted into a container, a fairy figure or two to set the scene and maybe a few other miniature accents.
Dianne doesn’t usually work with potting soil and plants, but she has certainly gotten into the spirit by combining fairy figures into her flower arrangements. Here are a couple of her most recent creations.
Our summer Book Clearance Sale continues on. It was lovely having it outside under a pop-up canopy, the warm breeze gently turning the pages, but it’s a lot of work schlepping all those books in and out every day. So, we’ve moved it inside and added even more titles to the mix.
You’re sure to find something that piques your interest, whether it’s gardening, cooking, nature, how-to, story books, picture books or many other subjects.
There are hundreds of titles and they are all 50% off their regular prices.
